Awaken the Creator Within IV: The Power of Local Cinema On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the Sudbury Indie Cinema hosted the fourth and final event of Awaken the Creator Within , and despite a heavy snowstorm moving through the region, people still chose to come out and support local storytelling. Doors opened at 5:00 PM, and although the show was scheduled for 6:00 PM, weather conditions pushed the start to around 6:20 PM. That delay had little effect on the atmosphere inside

January 7, 2026 Best comment of the evening: “It was like being on an acid trip without taking acid.” We say that honestly because the audience felt  the range of what was on screen. The projector carried us through entirely different worlds, tones, and perspectives, all created right here in the North.
