Cutting Your First Film!

A full week of hands-on editing where you learn how to shape a story from raw footage to final cut. You work inside DaVinci Resolve with real timelines, real scenes, and real creative decisions. When you RSVP, you receive an online link with workshop details.

This masterclass is designed for beginners and emerging filmmakers who want to understand the full editing workflow. You learn how to import and organize footage, sync audio, build a rough cut, shape story beats, refine a fine cut, add basic colour and sound, and export your finished scene. Each day builds on the last, and by the end of the week you will have cut your first film sequence from start to finish.

Editing is the backbone of filmmaking. Once you understand pacing, structure, and the rhythm of images, every part of your filmmaking becomes clearer and stronger.
