You Never Get to Watch a Film Get Finished
Until Now.
Post-production is where films either find their soul or quietly fall apart.
And almost no one ever gets to see that process unfold.
Editing Masterclass II opens the door.
For 40 live hours, you sit inside a real edit suite with the director Marine Ohensian as we take the rough cut of It’s March 17th and I’m Still in Love with You and push it all the way to a refined, screening-ready fine cut.
This is not a lesson.
This is access.
What's Happening During the Week?
We commit Monday to Friday, 10am–6pm to finishing the film.
That means:
-
Examining every scene for clarity, rhythm, and emotional truth
-
Refining pacing and performance beat by beat
-
Creating and layering sound effects
-
Shaping temp music to support the story
-
Sound mixing the entire film
-
Completing a focused, one-pass color grade
Every decision is made live.
Nothing is prepped for teaching.
You’re watching the real thing.
Why This Stage Matters
Most films die in the gap between a rough cut and a fine cut.
This is where:
-
Scenes are cut or saved
-
Tone is locked
-
Emotion either lands or doesn’t
-
Sound will bring the world to life
-
Color correction will make the film look seamless
Editing Masterclass II lives in that gap.
You’re not learning how tools work.
You’re watching how uncertainty turns into confidence.
Special Guests, Real Conversations
Throughout the week, special guests will drop in live.
Editors, filmmakers, and collaborators join the process, offering perspective as the work unfolds.
No panels.
No performances.
Just real conversations inside real post-production.
